Kefi

In the Old City, Kefi’s owners transformed a vacant 4,000 square foot vehicle repair space into a favorite local drink and food spot for Knoxville.  A challenge for sure, the early 20th-century warehouse structure has two-foot thick exterior walls supporting the internal wood structure. A fire separation between the new restaurant and the existing apartments on the second floor had to be established and not easy as you can imagine with the age of the property. Kefi was a great opportunity for our team to shine, putting our problem solving, and architectural skills to the test.
